- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Stayed there in a tent in March 2017 - lovely large site overlooking the river, but that's the only positive! Negatives - very noisy as there's a pub just across the river, the amenities are VERY outdated, the bbq's were black, overhot & you had to pay to use them! The camp kitchen, although it had the necessary facilities, also needs updating and the price we paid was the most expensive of our whole holiday :(By Maureen Thomas, April 23, 2017
